I don’t think we completely realize the power and glory that God possess. Sometimes we are so consumed with our current environment that we don’t realize that God’s hands are still protecting us and if he ever flexed his power – Boom! We would all perish instantaneously.
Like – y’all God is so big! I remember my pastor taught a sermon entitled God is so Heavy. He stated when he was growing up heavy was the term they used to call someone the Greatest of All Time (GOAT). The term heaviness gives weight and respect to that person for their greatness.
Well, we know God is so heavy and he is the ultimate GOAT that was, is and is to come. I’m going to share a few of his many flexes with you- you have to read the Bible to find out more. ???
A Few Flexes
Genesis 1:1 – He flexed his power and created the whole world. I’m in awe of him. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
Genesis 1:3 – He spoke and said, Let there be light and there was light. #flex
Genesis 2:21-22 He put Adam in a deep sleep, took his rib and made a woman. #flex Adam Lowkey had surgery and was healed by the greatest physician and woke up with a whole wife. #imshook #howsway
Matthew 8:25-27 He rebuked the seas and they immediately calmed down. #flex The men said: Even the winds and waves obey. #flex
Luke 24:6-7 He was crucified and on the third day, he rose again. #theultimateflex
I could go on and on about the many miracles mentioned in the Bible. Reading more about the Bible makes me have a deeper respect and reverence for who he is and what he can do! Just remember, he died on the cross for you, me and everybody else too!
Question of the Day: What’s your favorite thing to read about in the Bible?
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
Romans 10:9 KJV
My favorite thing to read about in the Bible is wisdom. I could read proverbs all day ??
Me too! I need to start reading it at least once a quarter.
