So, I’ve talked about fear before but, let me expound on it a little more.
Storytime: This weekend I went to Fossil Rim Wildlife Center with my family. If you haven’t been I recommend it. It’s like a drive-thru safari to sum it up.
Once you drive through the entrance, the facility gives you animal feed to throw food out the windows to feed the animals. However, you have the ability to feed the giraffes? directly out of your hands.
My sister’s vehicle was behind my car and I could see my younger niece and nephew feeding the giraffe. Everyone in my sister’s car fed the giraffes while my two nieces in my car missed the opportunity to feed the giraffes due to fear.
While this was a harmless situation, we agreed that if my brother was in my vehicle he would have missed an opportunity to fed the giraffe. He would have been easily influenced by my nieces fear which would have caused him to be afraid.
Fear is contagious.
This experience showed me visually how important it is to have the right people surrounding you. Being around the wrong people can cause you to doubt what God has told you and then you become fearful and complacent.
If you need to change your surroundings and your friends, do it! Don’t miss divine opportunities because you aren’t in the place that God called you to be due to fear from yourselves or others. Arise! Be strong and courageous. Don’t allow fear to hinder you! ♥️
Scripture of the Day:
“For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.” Isaiah 41:13 KJV
