To my much older sista! It’s your birthday! Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone your age. ? In my head, you will always be my younger/older sister. Because it’s your birthday I have to share a story or two with everyone, it’s only right. Lol.
Storytime: I can think of two cooking stories right off in which we definitely messed up some food, but I’ll share one.
So, flashback to at least 10 plus years ago my sister and I wanted dressing for the holidays and my mom told us she wasn’t cooking. Instead of cooking my mom told us the list of the ingredients to include for the dressing. My mom warned us not to put too much sage in the dressing because it could make us sick. So instead, my sister and I opted and didn’t put any sage in the dressing. The dressing is usually like the staple for the holiday meal, but not that year. Instead, we had a big pan of veggies with cornbread.? #epicfail lol
When we were younger, my sister and I were always together growing up, especially on the weekend. All we needed was bus fare and we would be gone all day. Side note: I needed bus fare because she always had money growing up because she was great at saving, which I always admired about her.
She’s an awesome mom, a great friend, and an amazing sister. Low-key she is probably the funniest of all us. So today on your birthday, I hope you have an amazing day and many more birthdays to come!
Love Your Younger Sis!

Proverbs 3:15 KJV
Y’all look beautiful!! When I read y’all just decided to not add the sage I laughed out loud. You have to add the sage ????
Friend, I love dressing like it is a food group. I was so upset we couldn’t eat it that year. Lol.
