Story time: I recently had a check that I deposited through the mobile banking application. While I was completing the deposit through the app it said it will take 2 business days for the funds to be available. The next day I login to my account and it says that it will be on hold for 7 business days. ?#wth (heck)
So, I called the bank and spoke to a representative and expressed my concern and she informed me there was nothing she could do. ? I did let her know I would be callingā everyday, not because I needed the money, however I wanted someone to explain their rationale. Also, if this was a personal check I would understand, however it wasn’t; It was from a large financial institution and I wanted answers.
So I called the next day and explained my situation and asked for their rationale. I also explained that I had been a valued customer, happened to mention my years of service with the company and that I had cashed several checks from the same company with them and never experienced an issue. This representative advised that she would see what she could do and placed me on hold. The representative came back to the line and she confirmed that she released the hold immediately and my money was available. ?? #lookatGod #wonthedoit
Moral of the story, it reminded me of sometimes my relationship with God. God cant lie and has to honor his word. The bible is full of promises for believers, but several of them won’t be activated until we are obedient and consistent in our communication with him to build a relationship. You are more likely to get something from someone when you have a relationship with them vs. not knowing them at all. How is your relationship?
Have a great day!
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
Numbers 23:19 KJV
